Fuel Surcharge Effective April 22nd, 2024: 28.0%

Satellite Motor Service have attempted to curb our fuel costs as much as possible by purchasing in bulk and operating our own fuel tank. In light of fuel costs, we have implemented a fuel surcharge on all shipments. This surcharge only applies to the transportation portion of your move.

The level of Satellite Motor Service's fuel surcharge is based upon the U.S. Midwest Diesel Fuel Index. This index is adjusted weekly by the Energy Information Administration of the U.S. Department of Energy and is available online or by telephone at 202-586-6966.

The surcharge percentage for Satellite Motor Service shipments will be subject to a weekly adjustment based on the U.S. Department of Energy average prices for a gallon of diesel fuel for the previous week.
